Dr. Welch has over 20 years of clinical experience and provides comprehensive diagnostic treatment with the latest in technology. Graduating Cum Laude from Ball State University in 1992, Dr. Welch continued her education at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry. Upon receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she entered the United States Air Force where she completed a comprehensive general dentistry residence program. While serving, Dr. Welch was awarded the Junior Dental Office of the Year. After six years, she separated from the military to remain in the area with her husband. After 21 years of serving in Special Operations, her husband Brian retired and they made our area home with their children. We thank him and all of our military members and families for their service to our country.
In 2010, Dr. Welch achieved Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry for her continuing education studies. She focuses her continuing education on Temporal mandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders, Chronic Head and Neck Pain, as well as Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Appliance Therapy. After extensive training and testing, she also received Diplomat status in both the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. She is currently in the process of achieving Diplomat status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
She is an active member in the following: American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Christian Medical Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She also is a member of Florida's and Okaloosa-Walton Dental Society affiliates as she believes it is critical to support organized dentistry and the profession, both at the state and federal government levels.
